Q. When do we pay the driver?

A. Please pay the driver in full, once you arrive at the airport, this will confirm your return journey. For one-way journeys pay the driver once you arrive at your destination.

You don’t need to pay a deposit prior to travel.


Q. Can we pay by card?

A. All popular Debit/Credit card payments can be made to the driver via a secure mobile payment system. This is popular for business travel. 3% charge is applied to quoted price.


Q. What happens if my flight is delayed - will there still be someone there to collect us?

A. A driver will always be ready to collect whatever the circumstance are around your delayed flight.


Q. Does 1st Travel keep a track of the flights?

A. Yes, all flights are tracked in real time via the airports website or various Apps.


Q. Where do we meet the driver and how do we recognise it’s our driver?

A. All customers are collected inside the terminal arrivals hall. The driver will always be holding a sign with the passengers surname on.


Q. Will 1st Travel contact us the night before we travel?

A. Yes, All customers are called/text between 6pm and 8pm the night before or emailed if initially arriving from abroad.


Q. Does 1st Travel offer pick ups and drop offs at multiple addresses?

A. Yes, please confirm if this is required prior to travel, so we can plan enough time for the driver.


Q. What happens if the car breaks down on route to/from the airport?

A. Although we have never incurred a breakdown, in the very unlikely event an immediate alternative will be arranged with no cost to the customer.
